Vigil-02

We need to put pressure on the councils to accept their fair share of refugees in this growing humanitarian crisis.

To that end, we are having a vigil, which will culminate with handing over pledges to LCC, showing that we, in the grassroots, are more than willing to play our part in welcoming and integrating any new arrivals.

THE VIGIL
Saturday 12 March, 12.30pm-1pm
St James’ Church, Louth

Towards the end will be the photo shoot when we definitely needs lots of people. Before that, Rev Nick Brown will talk about the trip he’s on now to a refugee camp in Jordan, and we’ll also hear from Abi Gilbert, a paediatric nurse that volunteered in Lesvos recently.

We look forward to seeing you there!
